On September 29, 2006 the workshop on “IBM Lotus and IBM Tivoli Software - IBM corporate solutions for IT infrastructure” was held in ISR Plaza Hotel (Baku). The workshop has been jointly organized by IBM Corporation and R.I.S.K. Company.
Mr. Rustam Asimov - IBM software sales representative - has opened the workshop with presentation on “IBM Lotus Software: products and technologies for employees overall performance increase in groups”. His presentation described solutions for increase of collective work efficiency, improvement of external and internal interaction among employees in organizations, electronic documents exchange systems development and joint access to information based on IBM Lotus technologies.
Performance capabilities of “e-Sened product” developed by R.I.S.K. company experts were presented during the next presentation on “E-document - practical solution on IBM basis: Lotus Domino”. As it was noted by the head of e-Sened development team Mr. Vugar Meriev, “e-Sened” electronic document exchange system (EDES) is developed for automation of document exchange, as well as office-work. EDES supports document full lifecycle in the organization, from its primary registration until its archiving. During the presentation, the practical examples of system application into document exchange have been presented.
Sales representative of IBM Tivoli specialized software – Mr. Dmitry Lobovko - continued introduction of IBM, developed on IBM Tivoli solutions basis, by presentation on “Review of IBM Tivoli software products for management of information infrastructure and data storage systems”.
The opportunities of IBM Tivoli solutions application in automation of infrastructure management as a basis for business-on-demand have been presented. As it was noted in the presentation, the mentioned SOFTWARE is responsible for connection of key business processes with IT-infrastructure, reduction of time and expenses, forecasting of problems and their solution before they occur as well as for increase of enterprise efficiency due to arrangement of qualified human resources on strategic positions bringing the maximal economic feedback. Review of Tivoli Storage Manager, Netview and Enterprise management console solutions, etc. was presented as well.
The workshop was organized to inform representatives of state structures, banks, financial organizations, ministries and departments about IBM solutions and technologies as well as demonstration of available products use in up-to-date organizational infrastructure. At the end of the workshop all participants have had an opportunity to discuss available questions and exchange views.
